Ashley 'Ambika' Franco

Doctor of Ayurveda
Registered Yoga Teacher
Licensed Massage Therapist

Ashley is a holistic wellness practitioner born and raised in South Florida. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Florida International University in 2014, following nearly a decade of athletic discipline as a student-athlete and collegiate basketball player. Her path took a transformative turn in 2018 when she began her deep study of Sampoorna Yoga under the guidance of Shri Yogi Hari in Miramar, FL. This immersion in yogic teachings organically led her to the science of Ayurveda, where she had the honor of studying under the world-renowned Ayurvedic master and physician Dr. Vasant Lad.

Ashley completed a four year Ayurvedic Doctorate program in 2023 at The Ayurvedic Institute, which included a traditional Gurukula immersion and clinical study at The Vasanta Institute of Ayurveda in Pune, India with a focus on Panchakarma training. She has also undergone continued yoga training and completed a massage therapy program, rounding out her multidimensional approach to healing.

Today, Ashley is the founder of Om Grace Ayurveda, a holistic wellness clinic in Miramar, FL offering Ayurvedic health consultations, detox retreats, educational workshops, yoga, therapeutic bodywork, Ayurvedic dinners and a handcrafted apothecary line. She is also the visionary behind Soma Sip, a wellness beverage line launched at Fruits n Cahoots, with its first offering, the signature Blue Lotus Chai. Soma Sip weaves sacred botanicals and Ayurvedic insight into a modern, nourishing format—serving not only as a product, but also as education and an experience as a portal to deeper wellness rituals.

She offers her work in service to others, drawing from the deep well of her studies, teachers, and lived experience. Whether facilitating retreats, guiding seasonal detoxes, creating herbal products, or collaborating with community-rooted businesses, her work is rooted in lived experience, service, and deep respect for the rhythms of nature and our interconnectedness with it. She thoughtfully adapts and integrates her healing offerings to meet both individual needs and the wider community, honoring each person’s unique goals and state of health within the greater collective ecosystem.

This is a tribute of dedication and limitless service to my mother, whom passed away in 2018 from ovarian cancer. An experience that shifted my reality forever. Highlighting the much needed light of holistic healing practices in todays world and allowing me the opportunity to do so. Her name was Graciela, many called her Grace
